The AWS Industries Team helps AWS customers implement Generative AI solutions and realize transformational business opportunities in strategic industry verticals. This is a team of data scientists, engineers, and architects working with customers to build bespoke solutions that harness the power of generative AI. The team helps customers imagine and scope use cases, select and train models, define paths to adoption, develop proofs-of-concept, and build applications to launch solutions at scale. They provide guidance and implement best practices for applying generative AI responsibly and cost efficiently.

You will work directly with customers in a fast-paced environment, design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and optimize risk, profitability, and customer experience. You will design, evangelize, implement and scale GenAI solutions for never-before-solved problems.

Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI/ML scientists, engineers, and architects to research, design, develop, and evaluate generative AI algorithms and build ML systems to address real-world challenges
• Interact with customers to understand business problems, help implement generative AI solutions, deliver briefing and deep-dive sessions, and guide adoption patterns and paths to production
• Create and deliver best-practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, publications, sample code, and presentations adapted to technical, business, and executive stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree, or equivalent professional field or military experience
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
• Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
• Experience in software development with an object-oriented language

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree
• AWS Associate level certification
• Fluent in Spanish (spoken, written, and reading)
• Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, SageMaker, Bedrock) and other ML services
