Overview
As a Senior Solutions Architect for UN customers, you act as the technical trusted advisor across migration, modernization, data/analytics, AI/ML, and security. You will shape multi-region, data-residency aware cloud solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead architecture reviews and hands-on AI initiatives. Your work enables mission-driven institutions to modernize legacy systems and scale secure digital platforms. This role combines whiteboard design, prototyping, and executive-level storytelling to drive measurable impact.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide architecture guidance across migration, modernization, data & analytics, AI/ML, and security for UN customers
- Partner with Account Managers to develop and execute account strategies and progress opportunities
- Design and review architectures for enterprise applications, portals, contact centers (Amazon Connect), and data platforms across regions
- Lead customer-facing engagements (Well-Architected Reviews, migration assessments, AI accelerators, build days, POC, AI-DLC sessions)
- evangelize AWS services through speaking engagements, workshops, and reference architectures
- Collaborate with AWS service teams, specialists, and Partners to deliver integrated solutions and feedback into roadmaps
- Mentor junior SAs and contribute to the broader AWS SA community through content and initiatives
- Balance deep technical work with executive and strategic discussions for UN customers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Experience in technology domains: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
- Experience designing or consulting on applications and infrastructures
- Business-level English fluency
- Preferred: 5+ years in infrastructure or database architecture and networking
- Experience designing or delivering contact center/telephony solutions (ideally Amazon Connect)
- Experience delivering solutions for public sector/UN customers with data sovereignty residency considerations
- Experience with large-scale migration and modernization
- Experience building generative AI, data analytics platforms
- Experience working with enterprise customers and partners in a consultative capacity
- Second language such as French an advantage
- Experience with AWS technologies from a DevOps perspective
- Experience migrating legacy solutions to the cloud
