Overview
As a Senior Security Assurance Solution Architect, you guide customers through risk-based cloud adoption and compliance strategies. You will lead cross-functional teams to design scalable security assurance programs that map to regulatory requirements, helping enterprises move sensitive workloads to AWS. The role blends governance, risk, and compliance with cloud engineering to drive secure, compliant migration at scale. You will collaborate with multiple lines of business and influence AWS roadmaps through customer and partner feedback.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead cross-functional teams of Amazonians, partners, and customers to advance security assurance programs
- Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches that enable faster cloud adoption of sensitive workloads
- Address security assurance questions, manage risk, and demonstrate how to achieve compliance in the AWS Cloud via deep dives, strategic recommendations, and automated demonstrations
- Coordinate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to feed customer feedback into technology roadmaps
- Engage on customer site visits as needed to support engagements
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into scalable cloud-focused solutions
- Provide thought leadership on governance, risk, and compliance in cloud migrations
- Mentor and guide teams to improve security assurance capabilities across accounts
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Experience in risk management and internal audits including risk assessments, controls design, and enterprise control frameworks
- Experience securing cloud software services with focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
- 3+ years advising customers on architectures that meet industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800-53 and GDPR
- Experience in information security and compliance
- Bachelor-level education in relevant fields
- Proficiency in speaking with executives and stakeholders across levels
