Divisional Manager - Legal BD, Marketing & Communications An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading international law firm seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the growth of its German practice. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Europe and internationally, you will drive strategic business development initiatives, enhance market positioning, and support revenue growth across key practice areas. This role can be based in Düsseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt or Cologne.
Key Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities, client development initiatives and cross-selling opportunities across the German market.
Partner with senior leaders to deliver business development plans aligned to wider growth objectives.
Lead and coordinate high-profile pitches, proposals and RFP responses from strategy through to submission.
Develop and deliver client events, thought leadership campaigns and other strategic marketing initiatives.
Monitor market trends, oversee directory submissions, and manage business development budgets and reporting.
Key Requirements
Proven business development or client development experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
Strong experience managing pitches, proposals and strategic growth initiatives.
Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent project management, stakeholder management and analytical skills, with strong CRM and Microsoft Office capabilities.
