About the position
As the team lead for this project, you will take on a hybrid role combining leadership and technical expertise. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers working on a critical big data application for traffic monitoring. In this capacity, you will facilitate the team’s agile processes while also contributing to the technical development of the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, ensuring high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Lead the agile working style of the team, ensuring team alignment, productivity, and continuous improvement, with a focus on high-quality software delivery, impediment management, and acceptance test driven development.
- Design, implement, and operate scalable applications for traffic monitoring, contributing hands-on in all stages of development.
- Oversee delivery management and customer communication.
Your profile
- Previous experience as a team lead/Scrum Master in the software development field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with our Tech Stack: Python, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, MinIO/S3, Kubernetes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage both technical and agile responsibilities.
- Proficiency in English (C1) is crucial, German (C1) is preferred.
- A bachelor\’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or data science. Higher degrees are preferred.
