Overview
As a Quality Assurance Engineer in SQM at Ambu, you contribute to supplier quality and regulatory compliance across the Global Quality Management Operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive audits, supplier evaluations, and performance monitoring, shaping the supplier landscape for a global MedTech leader. The role blends quality systems with business partnering to improve processes and KPIs. You work in a hybrid setup, with options to base in Denmark or Germany, supporting patient-centered innovation.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Drive supplier quality control within Global Quality Management
- Manage Supplier Quality Agreements and supplier approvals/re-evaluations
- Monitor supplier performance and KPIs; provide data for management reviews
- Support supplier sourcing and qualification projects
- Plan and conduct supplier audits as Lead Auditor or Co-Auditor
- Collaborate with Global Procurement and Supply Chain on quality topics
- Participate in global quality forums to drive improvements
- Ensure SQM processes are compliant, effective, and optimized
- Support cross-functional quality improvement projects and strategic initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Relevant experience in a quality-focused role within the Medical Device industry
- Hands-on experience with Supplier Quality Management processes
- ISO 13485 Auditor or Lead Auditor training
- Experience with IT supplier auditing and supplier monitoring; knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIS2 (desired)
- Strong knowledge of Medical Device regulations and standards (ISO 13485, EU MDR, MDSAP, UK regulations)
- English proficiency required
