Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Instructional Designer to join our team. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing engaging learning experiences for various educational programs, courses, and training materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design principles, educational technology, and adult learning theories. This position offers the chance to collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create effective learning solutions that meet our diverse audience’s needs.

Your Tasks

  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and implement instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
  • Instructional Design: Apply instructional design principles and methodologies to create effective learning experiences that promote learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Content Creation: Develop multimedia content, including videos, interactive simulations, and e-learning modules, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct needs assessments and learner analysis to identify learning objectives, content requirements, and instructional strategies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and stakeholders to gather content, review materials, and incorporate feedback into course designs.
  • Technology Integration: Utilize educational technology tools and learning management systems to deliver and manage course content effectively.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Design formative and summative assessments to measure learning outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of instructional materials through thorough review and testing processes.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design and educational technology.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and e-learning development.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software, learning management systems, and multimedia authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, WorkRamp).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning theories (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and instructional design models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in learning design.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in corporate training, higher education, or professional development is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
