For our entity in Hamburg , we are recruiting a Line Manager (f/m/d) for Short Sea Lines – Intra North Europe :

Your mission:
Core to the business activities of the Company, you will manage the business development and optimisation of the loading capacity of vessels for a specific line in order to maximize financial results.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Assist the Line Manager in the management of the Line and supervise the sales team.
2. Draw up quantitative (turnover and profitability) and qualitative (service quality and customer satisfaction) objectives to increase the number of direct customers of the Line.
3. Ensure the business strategy and pricing policy of the Group that you define, and carry out mixed cargo adjustment actions.
4. Lead your network of agents, follow up and develop the customer portfolio, develop a competitive intelligence plan, and participate in the creation of new maritime Lines.

You bring aboard:

1. A postgraduate degree in Business or Transport and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position with team management responsibilities.
2. Fluency in English and excellent managerial skills.
3. Responsiveness, critical thinking, persuasive skills, and a strong ability to synthesise.
4. Interpersonal and communication skills to efficiently develop the activity of the Line.
