The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements through leadership in inspection processes, audits, and continuous improvement activities.

The role will collaborate cross‑functionally and serve as a key partner to the Production Manager in implementing best practices and resolving quality challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct incoming inspections and release First Article Inspections (FAI) to ensure parts meet specified requirements.
  • Handle production quality issues, including quarantining and analysing defective parts, ensuring timely disposition.
  • Analyse and report cost of poor quality for the site, focusing on internal (rework and scrap cost) and external (warranty cases) costs.
  • Lead detailed analysis of customer quality issues, identify root causes, and implement immediate corrective measures along with long‑term preventive actions to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and execute internal and external quality and EHS audits, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee supplier quality performance, collaborate closely with suppliers to develop and execute improvement plans.
  • Ensure maintenance of Integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 4501:2018 standards.
  • Implement strategies to reduce costs associated with poor quality through continuous improvement of processes and product quality.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, driving ongoing improvement through established problem‑solving methodologies (e. g., 8D Report, PSP, 5‑Why, Ishikawa).
  • Implement Environmental, Health, and Safety improvement actions at the plant, along with sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in introducing and maintaining quality and occupational safety indicators.
  • Train and coach employees on quality, EHS, and continuous improvement practices, fostering a culture of quality and safety throughout the plant.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Implement and monitor safety programs, training, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of practical experience in quality assurance and quality audits within an industrial, manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics industry.
  • Proficiency in using quality tools such as 8D Report, PSP, 5‑Why, and Ishikawa.
  • Experience with MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on process thinking.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a proactive, “doer” mentality.

  • Currency: EUR
  • Salary Minimum: 70,000
  • Salary Maximum: 85,000
  • Incentive: No
