Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

ppWe are looking for a Hardware Engineer who will join the hardware team and will develop new products or modules according to EMC standards. With a proven experience of complete Hardware Design Process, this person will interface regularly with other engineering groups (including firmware, software, test and mechanical engineers) and external electronic components suppliers. /p pStrong organizational skills are required as well as detailed documentation skills. /p h3Position Description / Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liElectronic board-level design with Altium. /li liSelection and evaluation of components for the new design. /li liCircuit Design, simulation of electrical circuits with PSpice. /li liDraw schematics, BOM’s, PCB layouts, assembly drawings and test procedures for new designs /li liPrototyping of the new design, test, debug and design proving, fault diagnosis. /li liParticipation in Critical Design Review Process /li liParticipation in transfer to production /li /ul h3Position Requirements /h3 ul liCompleted engineering degree in electronics or a related field required. /li li3+ years’ experience in analog/digital Design, background in high-voltage desired. /li liGood/strong experience with CAE PCB layout tools from Altium. /li liBasic knowledge in EMC immunity is an advantage. /li liProven experience of complete Hardware Design Process. /li liExperience of designing for good EMC performance. /li liWorking knowledge of design for manufacture, relevant knowledge of designing cost optimized products. /li liUnderstands the value of, and can produce, High quality Documentation. /li liAble to quickly learn and self-teach new skills and technology. /li liMaintains a constructive positive attitude in challenging situations. /li liOperates effectively under pressure and delivers to agreed timescales. /li liGood team player, interested in and able to communicate with other Engineering Disciplines. /li liProficiency in English is required; proficiency in German is considered a plus. /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pCurrency: CHF /p pSalary Minimum: Market /p pSalary Maximum: Market /p pIncentive: Market /p pDisclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
