Wir, die Amgen Research (Munich) GmbH , einer der Amgen „State of the Art“-Forschungsstandorte mit Sitz im Münchner Süden und rund 160 Mitarbeitenden, suchen zum nächstmöglichen Termin einen Associate Scientist / Senior Associate / Associate (m/w/d) Protein Analytics in Vollzeit in unbefristeter Anstellung.
Die Postion kann entsprechend der Qualifikation und Erfahrung entweder als Associate, Senior Associate oder Associate Scientist besetzt werden.
AUFGABEN:
Wichtige Aufgabe und Ziel der Abteilung “Platformization of Complex Molecules” ist die Herstellung und Charakterisierung von komplexen, therapeutischen Proteinen und “critical reagents”, um Projektteams der globalen Amgen Organisation zu unterstützen. So leisten wir als Abteilung einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Erfolg von Amgens Früh- und Spätphasen Pipeline.

Qualitätskontrolle und Freigabe von Proteinen und Unterstützung bei der Proteincharakterisierung

Vorbereitung und Durchführung von HPLC basierten Methoden, z.B. size exclusion chromatography (SEC) oder cation exchange chromatography (CEX)

Vorbereitung und Durchführung von MS basierten Methoden, z.B. intakte Massenspektrometrie
-
Durchführung weiterer proteinanalytischer Methoden, z.B. UV/VIS Spektroskopie und Kapillargelelektrophorese
-
Dokumentation im elektronischen Laborbuch
-
Auswertung, Interpretation und graphische Darstellung der Messdaten sowie Präsentation der erhaltenen Ergebnisse in internen Meetings

Übernahme von Aufgaben der allgemeinen Labororganisation und Geräteverantwortlichkeiten
QUALIFIKATION:
-
Wissenschaftlich-technische:r Assistent:in (z.B. BTA, CTA, MTA, PTA) oder Bachelor of Science, idealerweise mit Berufserfahrung in der Industrie

theoretische und praktische Erfahrung im Bereich Proteinanalytik, vor allem praktische Erfahrung in der Durchführung chromatographischer Analysemethoden

Erfahrung in relevanter HPLC Auswertesoftware wie z.B. Empower oder Chromeleon ist wünschenswert
-
Ausgeprägtes Qualitätsbewusstsein im Hinblick auf die Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation der übertragenen Entwicklungsarbeiten

Selbstständigkeit und Flexibilität bei der Bearbeitung angewandter und forschungsspezifischer Fragestellungen

Starker Team-Player mit Freude an abteilungsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit

Gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse und ein sicherer Umgang mit gängiger Laborsoftware sowie MS-Office
