Software Tester

Manual Software Tester (English or German speaking) – North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Amius recruitment is working with a solutions-based company that has grown to 50 people and continues to expand under a larger entity with 20,000 employees in the R&D industry. We are looking for a manual software tester to join a growing tech team. The role requires office presence 3 days a week.

In this role, you’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of critical software products by performing hands‑on testing across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using established tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members
• Validate bug fixes and ensure high‑quality releases
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous process improvement
• Ensure testing is aligned with business requirements and technical specifications
• Provide clear reporting on test results and quality metrics

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a Manual Tester or QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills in English or German
