Key Responsibilities:
- Ubuntu desktop management including OS deployment, device integration in Linux environment, application packaging & deployment, and security patch deployment.
- Shell scripting.
- Experience with tools such as GIT, SaltStack, and Foreman.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Onsite lead for Linux client engineering & operations team.
- Work with product owners to fulfill all software deployments pertaining to Linux desktop infrastructure.
- Plan and execute OS deployments and upgrades.
- Collaborate closely with client top-level management.
- Act as the front end of Wipro to the customer in the Linux operations team.
- Experience in policies, provisioning, and configuration profile management.
- Experience in LDAP configurations.
- Experience in security patching.
- Experience in shell scripting and GIT.
- Experience in application packaging and deployment methods in a Linux environment.
- Experience in ITSM tools like BMC / ServiceNow.
Level: 1 on antivirus management.
