In the context of the current EU wide reorganisation of the EU Health Technology Assessment, we are looking for a French native speaker. Biostatisticians or natural scientists (at least bachelor, experienced or unexperienced) who is prepared to develop his focus beside the established statistical work in clinical research also on epidemiology and Health Technology Assessment which is just in development throughout Europe.
We are planning that the applicant will come to Mannheim for a comprehensive induction. Depending on the entry requirements, the training in Mannheim can last up to 12 months or longer. Afterwards, a further assignment in a responsible position in the French team in France is planned.

- Project Management
- Monitoring
- Data Management
- Biostatistics
- Medical Writing
- Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety
- Quality Assurance
- Conduction of Audits
- Support for Regulatory Affairs and submissions
Your contribution:
- Planning, management and analysis of non-interventional studies (NIS) and phase I - IV clinical trials.
- Develop input in clinical study protocols/reports related to statistical methodology and develop plans for statistical analysis.
- Coordinate statistical activities and communicate within the interdisciplinary project team and with clients.
- Perform statistical analyses.
Your profile (ideally):
- Bachelor/Master or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology or equivalent qualification.
- Sound knowledge in applying statistical or epidemiological methods and applicable guidelines, programming skills in SAS or R.
- Good written and oral communication skills in French and English. German language skills would be an advantage.
- Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a Contract Research Organization.
Langue de travail : anglais. Langue maternelle française. Des connaissances en allemand seraient appréciées mais pas nécessaires.
