Your new responsibilities
Drive and manage Quality in NPD/NPI (Risk based APQP, ensure holistic quality planning and execution) for assigned projects, in compliance with defined business processes across all functions
Support flawless execution of process/product qualification to ensure fast development of robust and innovative products
Enforce risk mitigation impacting process/product quality with the aid of FMEA, DFx guidelines, dedicated risk assessment tables, industry known specifications and standard
Execution of pre-qual to intercept potential risks which ensures high success of final process/product qualification
Definition of Quality and Reliability strategy with focus on robustness test to study technology-based capabilities, including lifetime modeling and predictions
Drive and manage quality and reliability issues, as well as continuous improvement in all areas of interest
Key go-to person (contact window) in the Business Unit (BU) / Business Line (BL) for any Quality related-issues during process/product development
Who we are looking for
Completed university degree (Bachelor’s / Master’s) in electrical or electronics engineering, applied physics or comparable
First experience (2+ years) in a similar role in a semiconductor industry. Good knowledge in digital photonics is beneficial
Strong knowledge of Core Automotive Quality Standards (IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA6.3) and Advanced Core Quality Tools (APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, SPC), including PPAP generation
Experience with statistical tools (eg. DOEs, Minitab, JMP)
Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis Tools: 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, Is/Is Not Analysis; first experience in driving customer-facing 8Ds
Reliability and Qualification skills: Reliability Tests (e.g., HTOL/TC/HAST), Qualification Standards (AEC-Q10x, JEDEC/JESD), Reliability Statistics (Weibull Analysis, FIT Rate, Failure Rate Calculations)
Proficiency in English; German and other languages would be an advantage
Willingness to travel: up to 50% (supplier and inter-site visits)
