Autonomous execution of monthly payroll processing for a defined group of employees, ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and company-specific regulations
Ensuring accurate, complete, and timely payroll processing, including all related follow-up activities
Maintenance and continuous updating of payroll-relevant employee master data in the HR and payroll system (SAP)
Handling payroll-related questions concerning income tax, social security, and labor law
Acting as a point of contact for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders regarding payroll-related matters
Ensuring compliance with data protection, security, and compliance requirements when handling sensitive personal data
Supporting internal and external audits (e.g., social security institutions, tax authorities, internal audits)
Contributing to the optimization and further development of payroll processes and ensuring adherence to defined process standards
Ensuring structured time and task management, particularly within the payroll cycle
In-depth professional knowledge of payroll accounting
Ability to independently process monthly payroll accurately and on time
Strong numerical skills combined with analytical and structured thinking
High level of technical proficiency in payroll systems, ideally SAP
Strong sense of responsibility, especially when handling sensitive and confidential data
Excellent time management skills and a disciplined, process-oriented working style
High awareness of compliance, data protection, and security requirements
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
