Principal Analog Engineer – Signal path Architect (d/m/f)
Location: Garching
Your Duties
Define high performance analog / mixed-signal architectures for the full signal path and use advanced modeling techniques as well as transistor level design to verify performances
Breakdown architecture into block level specifications for analog and digital teams
Participate to internal and external design reviews
Define and assess future generation of architectures and contribute to technology roadmaps
Creative problem solver, able to generate new ideas and file patents

Your Qualifications
Successfully completed studies in Electrical Engineering or microelectronics – with an emphasis in analog / mixed signal Integrated Circuit Design or a similar specialty
Experience in signal path architecture definition as well as analog, mixed signal IC design and digital signal processing
Knowledge of full industrialization cycle
Strong knowledge in Matlab and Cadence EDA tools
Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of architectures and impact on noise, SNR, THD, linearity etc.
Expertise with modeling complex signal path architecture in time and frequency domain as well as circuit simulations, including PVT, Monte Carlo, mixed signal, modelling, optimization, etc.
Experience is required in some or all of the following: low-noise, low-power analog circuits, oscillators, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, TDCs LED drivers, LDOs, DC/DC converters, optoelectronics, digital signal processing and calibration techniques
Team player with excellent listening and communications skills, ability to organize and prioritize work
Excellent communication skills in oral and written English
