Senior Staff Engineer – Analog Design (d/m/f)

Location: Garching

Your Duties

• Develop high performance analog / mixed-signal architectures & circuits from initial concept through prototype approval and until production ramp, including design for manufacturability, yield, test, and reliability.
• Complete transistor level analog design of complex circuits, meeting block level design specification.
• Perform and supervise detailed design, simulation, verification and validation of integrated circuits in collaboration with other team members like analog, layout, digital design and validation engineers.
• Prepare documents required for design reviews, internal discussions, test requirements and design documentation.
• Expertise with circuit simulations, including: PVT (Process Voltage Temperature), Monte Carlo, mixed signal, modelling, optimization, etc.
• Creative problem solver, able to generate new IP and file patents.
• Contribute to the growth of the team, helping junior / younger engineers learn required knowledge and experience through project work.

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed Master’s or Diploma degree (PhD beneficial) in Electrical Engineering or microelectronics – with an emphasis in analog / mixed signal Integrated Circuit Design or a similar specialty.
• Experience in analog and mixed signal IC Design.
• Strong knowledge in Cadence EDA tools.
• Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design.
• Experience is required in some of the following: low-noise, low-power analog circuits, oscillators, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, LED drivers, LDOs, DC/DC converters, optoelectronics, digital signal processing and calibration techniques.
• Team player with excellent listening skills, ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Good communication skills in oral and written English.
