Manager Accounting (m / f / d)

To complete our team, we are currently looking to recruit a :

Responsibilities :

1. Provide day-to-day accounting and financial reporting services for a portfolio of domiciled clients and structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
2. Ensure that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner, including monitoring tasks.
3. Review management accounts where required, primarily review financial statements in compliance with GAAP (LUX GAAP, IFRS).
4. Prepare NAV calculations, capital call workings, and distribution workings of the client structures.
5. Ensure that accounting records are accurate and that transactions and activity within the portfolio are understood and incorporated into the accounting ledgers as appropriate.
6. Review the accounting files prepared by the accounting team.
7. Support the audit process to ensure the completion of milestones and deadlines, liaising and coordinating with auditors.
8. Perform other duties to support Senior Managers and the team as may be necessary from time to time.
9. A basic understanding of Corporate Income Taxation and VAT would be an advantage.
10. Invoice clients according to our procedure.
11. Coach and supervise junior team members.

Profile :

1. Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant working experience is expected.
3. Experience in bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements for domiciled clients\‘ companies.
4. Experience in the Luxembourg corporate and funds industry and relevant rules and laws which drive reporting and accounting requirements.
5. Working languages are German and English.
6. Working knowledge of LUX GAAP or IFRS.
7. Proven team management and team spirit skills.
8. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
9. Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative when necessary.
