Software Tester / Testmanager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis for software and software systems
• Defining test specifications and selecting test methods and test tools
• Create test-related project plans and coordinate test activities
• Performing software tests (integration tests, automated and manual system tests) including creating documentation
• Evaluate software using metrics, test data evaluation and defect analysis in collaboration with the development team
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders during test preparation and execution
• Optimization and further development of the test environment with the help of systematic weak point analyses
• Analysis of software errors incl. suggestion of appropriate measures for error correction
• Training of users in the test programs

Your Profile

• Successfully completed training ideally with further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or similar
• Several years of professional experience in the field of software/firmware testing, preferably in the medical technology industry
• Knowledge of the Python programming language desirable
• Practiced handling of modern development and test tools under Windows/Linux as well as embedded operating systems
• ISTQB certification or comparable advantageous
• Experience in the area of IEC 62304 and cybersecurity
• Good German language skills as well as good written and spoken English required
