As part of our Finance team, you’ll be responsible for all accounting tasks, demonstrating not only a team-oriented spirit but also a willingness to take ownership of your own area of responsibility.
Profile
Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB)
Prepare and submit advance VAT returns and summary reports by the deadline
Ongoing account reconciliations and independent resolution of open balances
VAT assessment of domestic and foreign business transactions
Primary point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and government agencies
Active participation in budgeting and internal reporting
Qualifications
Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in business administration, ideally with a background in accounting
Passed the certified public accountant exam or currently preparing for it
Experience in financial reporting under the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and in-depth knowledge of Austrian accounting regulations (BAO, UStG)
Strong numerical aptitude combined with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, as well as a willingness to proactively drive initiatives forward
Enthusiasm for digitalization and automation, as well as a passion for new ideas
Excellent written and spoken German, as well as good written and spoken English
