IT-TECHNIKER IM RECHENZENTRUMSBETRIEB (M/W/D) You are a problem-solver, sticking to challenges and convincing with your independent work style and a high willingness to learn. Structured cabling and efficient rack design are in your blood, and you have a good understanding of critical infrastructures and their interconnections, which you bring to the projects.
Profile
Operation of our own data center DATASIX together with a team of 5
Installations, deinstallations, and relocation of IT hardware as well as extensive maintenance work
On-site fault analysis and troubleshooting in our data centers, as well as administration and operational activities of data center components
Design, implementation, further development, and securing of data center operations
Management of structured cabling systems including planning, documentation, and implementation
Qualifications
Experience in data center operations
Knowledge of data center technology, especially structured cabling (fiber optics, copper, power)
Knowledge in one of these areas: refrigeration/air conditioning technology, ventilation, electrical engineering (batteries, UPS, diesel generators, NSHV) as well as management systems for these areas is advantageous
Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks)
Team player and high sense of responsibility
Accurate and service-oriented work style
Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing
