Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide technical leadership for injection and compression molded rubber parts, including tooling and material selection
- Lead should-cost analyses and select manufacturing partners during quotations
- Drive design-to-cost by optimizing materials, tooling, design, and production technologies
- Manage make-or-buy decisions, supplier selection, and sampling through PPAP to serial production
- Optimize total cost of ownership with a strong supplier portfolio ensuring quality and reliability
- Lead engineering projects and support business development as the rubber molding technical center
- Collaborate with sales, sourcing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative customer solutions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Min. 5 years hands-on rubber manufacturing experience, especially rubber injection molding
- Strong project management in international, customer-facing environments
- Extensive knowledge of rubber molding technologies and tooling, compounds, equipment
- Understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier selection, should-cost analysis, procurement
- Ability to read complex technical drawings, analytical thinker with commercial awareness
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Excellent communication, proactive mindset, customer orientation, teamwork
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a must
