We're looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to design and deliver modern data platforms using Snowflake. You'll lead technical architecture, build scalable data solutions and help customers turn business requirements into production-ready data and AI platforms. Alongside delivery, you'll contribute to presales, support client workshops and mentor engineers across a growing data practice. Key responsibilities Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platforms and migrations. Build production data pipelines using SQL, Python, Snowpark and dbt. Develop AI/ML use cases using Snowflake Cortex and Snowpark ML. Own data modelling, governance, security, performance and cost optimisation. Automate deployments using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform. Integrate enterprise data sources such as SAP, CRM and streaming platforms. Support presales through technical workshops, PoCs and solution design. Coach colleagues and contribute to technical best practices. What we're looking for 6+ years' experience in data engineering, ideally within consulting. Proven experience delivering Snowflake projects in a technical lead or key engineering role. Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning and cost optimisation. Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with dbt and modern data modelling. Experience with production data integration and orchestration tools. Hands-on AWS or Azure experience, including CI/CD and IaC. Exposure to AI/ML use cases, ideally using Snowflake Cortex. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders. Fluent German and English. Nice to have: SnowPro certification, Apache Iceberg, Streamlit, Coalesce or SAP BW transformation experience.
