We're looking for a hands‑on Technical Lead to design and deliver modern data platforms using Snowflake. You'll lead technical architecture, build scalable data solutions and help customers turn business requirements into production-ready data and AI platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platforms and migrations.
- Build production data pipelines using SQL, Python, Snowpark and dbt.
- Develop AI/ML use cases using Snowflake Cortex and Snowpark ML.
- Own data modelling, governance, security, performance and cost optimisation.
- Automate deployments using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
- Integrate enterprise data sources such as SAP, CRM and streaming platforms.
- Support presales through technical workshops, PoCs and solution design.
- Coach colleagues and contribute to technical best practices.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years' experience in data engineering, ideally within consulting.
- Proven experience delivering Snowflake projects in a technical lead or key engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning and cost optimisation.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with dbt and modern data modelling.
- Experience with production data integration and orchestration tools.
- Hands‑on AWS or Azure experience, including CI/CD and IaC.
- Exposure to AI/ML use cases, ideally using Snowflake Cortex.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
- German and English.
