About the Role
ANT Recruitment is supporting a specialist aviation maintenance and avionics business in Germany with the appointment of a B1.3 Licence Engineer. Join a growing team with opportunities for progress.
This hands-on role focuses on turbine-helicopter mechanical maintenance, inspections and defect rectification. Certification duties will depend on your licence privileges, aircraft ratings, competence and company authorisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance using approved technical data.
- Inspect and maintain airframe, engine and mechanical systems within your competence and authorisation.
- Diagnose defects, complete repairs and component replacements, and verify completed work.
- Support modification activities and coordinate with avionics colleagues.
- Certify eligible work only within the scope of your licence, aircraft coverage and company authorisation.
- Maintain accurate technical records and follow the organisation's maintenance procedures.
- Contribute to safe working practices, tool control and maintenance quality.
Essential Requirements
- A valid EASA Part-66 B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence suitable for the work to be undertaken.
- Relevant turbine-helicopter maintenance experience and sound mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret approved maintenance data and complete accurate technical documentation.
- Understanding of Part-145 maintenance practices and the limits of your certification privileges.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English OR German.
- An EU passport, as required by the client for this assignment.
- Clear police clearance and eligibility to complete the required airport security checks.
- Ability to work on site in Rheinmünster, Germany.
- Professional judgement, attention to detail and a commitment to safe maintenance.
Desirable Experience
- Hands-on experience and relevant type ratings on Airbus EC135, H145 or AS350 helicopters.
- Experience working on Bell 429 or Bell 427 helicopters.
- Previous certifying-staff authorisations and recent experience in a Part-145 environment.
- Experience coordinating maintenance tasks within a small multidisciplinary team.
