Our client is a pioneer in the data and analytics landscape and we are searching for a visionary and accomplished Chief Product Officer (CPO) to shape their product strategy and spearhead groundbreaking innovations. With responsibility for developing and managing the product management and engineering teams, you will be the architect of our client’s product journey, leading the entire lifecycle from conception to global launch. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure their offerings perfectly align with market trends, exceed customer expectations, and propel the company’s long-term vision.
Key responsibilities: Shape the Future of Data & Analytics
- Craft a Commanding Product Strategy:
Develop a comprehensive product strategy that fuels the company’s growth. Conduct in-depth market research, gain customer insights and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and untapped opportunities. Leveraging your expertise, translate these insights into a clear and actionable roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that deliver maximum customer value and propel the company’s market leadership. - Champion Customer-Centric Innovation:
Become the champion of a customer-centric approach. Prioritize user feedback throughout the development process to continuously optimize product experiences and ensure solutions addressing real-world customer challenges. Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to understand customer needs and translate them into winning product features. - Deliver Flawless Products, On Time & On Budget:
Lead the end-to-end product development process, fostering a culture of excellence and high-performance. Oversee the creation of top-notch products that meet stringent quality standards and deliver exceptional value. Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, fostering effective collaboration across engineering, design, and all product development teams. - Build and Empower a High-Caliber Team:
Assemble and lead a high-performing product management and engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide mentorship and growth opportunities, empowering your team to excel and deliver industry-leading solutions. - Establish Robust Quality Assurance:
Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure products consistently meet the highest industry standards and exceed customer expectations.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven CPO or executive level of Product and Engineering experience in an international, high-growth technology company, with a track record of driving successful product launches and achieving significant market share gains.
- Strong technical acumen and a comprehensive knowledge of the database and analytics software landscape.
- Unwavering excitement for AI and all the possibilities entailed in all facets of the product towards becoming a leading AI data solution.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and best practices in the analytics and database sector, with a focus on agile methodologies and user-centered design principles, leveraging latest AI support for software development.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills. The ability to inspire, motivate, and build a high-performing product team is crucial.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into clear, actionable plans and a roadmap for achieving them.
- A passion for innovation and a relentless drive to push the boundaries of data and analytics solutions.
- Is based in Germany, or willing to work in a remote/hybrid capacity.
