As one-stop-shop, we provide our international customers with downhole and surface hardware as well as our software to operate and analyse measured data. ANTARES is looking for experienced andqualified engineers solving the challenging demands of developing and manufacturing downhole logging tools.We expect you to have a high degree of initiative and self-organization while also working effectively within a diverse team. The willingness to work in multicultural and international settings complements your profile.Responsibilities• Develop and program firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers, includingarchitectures like 8051 and AURIX.• Develop digital logic for FPGAs and integrate it into our measurement systems, with a focus onDigital Signal Processing (DSP).• Further develop and maintain existing hardware and firmware systems to improve performanceand robustness.• Conduct hardware tests in close cooperation with the firmware development team to ensure thefunctionality and reliability of our products.• Implement communication bus systems such as CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART.Qualifications• Strong knowledge of firmware development in C/C++.• Experience in designing and implementing FPGA code, ideally with VHDL, Simulink, or MATLAB. • Knowledge of working with DSPs (Digital Signal Processors).• Foundational hardware knowledge in analog and digital electronics (e.g., operational amplifiers,switching regulators, transistors).• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. We also encourage highly motivatedcandidates with initial experience to apply.• An independent and self-motivated work style.• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.• Work permit for Germany
