Labormitarbeiter (m/w/d)

Lab employee (m/w/d) – full time – Leverkusen, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Pre-analytical tasks: sample reception and preparation for processing, manual and automatic sample distribution and archiving, handling of follow-up requests and complaints, patient data capture, external sample shipment.
• Laboratory diagnostics: result creation, performing internal and external quality controls, meeting all necessary requirements (e. g., calibration, equipment monitoring) for result generation, ensuring appropriate turnaround times (emergency, routine), technical validation, compliance with laws, regulations, and standards, documentation of equipment and reagent errors, carrying out immediate and corrective measures, claims management, working within quality management.

Qualifications

• Preferred: completed vocational training as VMTA / MTLA / TFA (m/w/d) or comparable medical training.
• Team player with independent and service-oriented work style.
• High motivation, performance and learning readiness, ability to familiarize with a new work area.
• Basic technical understanding, computer skills in common programs.
• Sense of responsibility.
• Physical condition for standing and sitting work for several hours.
• Commitment to Saturday and daytime shift duties (no Sunday or overnight duties, occasional holiday duties) as part of the team.
