IFRC also adheres to strict child safeguarding principles. /p pThe bFederation-wide RBM and Data Systems unit /bsits within the Strategic Planning Department/ People and Strategy Division. It supports strategic alignment across the IFRC network by strengthening planning, monitoring, and reporting practices, ensuring data-driven decision-making, and demonstrating the collective impact of 191 National Societies. /p h3Job Purpose /h3 pThe purpose of this internship is to support Federation-wide and IFRC Secretariat planning and reporting processes, with a focus on tracking progress, ensuring compliance with guidance and procedures, and strengthening accountability in reporting across the IFRC. /p h3Job Duties and Responsibilities /h3 pPlanning, monitoring and reporting (PMR) are central to ensuring coherent, high-quality plans and timely, accountable reporting across the IFRC network. Under the supervision of the Coordinator, Planning, Monitoring and Reporting, the intern will contribute to the following areas: /p pb1. Federation‑wide unified planning and reporting support /b /p pSupport the implementation of Federation‑wide unified planning and reporting processes by assisting in tracking submissions, answering process‑related questions, and ensuring timeliness across regions and National Societies. /p pb2. IFRC Secretariat planning and reporting /b /p pSupport the coordination of the IFRC Secretariat planning and reporting cycle, including tracking progress on annual plans and reports, supporting quality checks, and helping ensure consistency across departments. /p pb3. ERP monitoring and compliance tracking /b /p ul litracking progress of submissions and updates; /li liidentifying gaps or delays in entries; /li lisupporting verification that colleagues are following agreed procedures and guidance. /li /ul pb4. Monitoring of standard and donor reporting /b /p ul liidentifying overdue reports and following‑up with concerned colleagues; /li licompiling dashboards or tracking tools; /li lihighlighting issues and risks related to reporting compliance. /li /ul pb5. Follow‑up and coordination support /b /p pSupport the Coordinator in following up with colleagues in Geneva and regional offices to ensure timely submission of plans and reports and adherence to reporting requirements. /p pb6. Support to guidance and process improvement /b /p pContribute to improving planning and reporting processes by identifying recurring issues or bottlenecks and supporting updates to guidance, templates, or tools. /p pUndertake additional tasks as required to support Federation‑wide planning, monitoring and reporting, including basic research, preparation of presentations and other materials, and administrative support to coordination processes. /p pThrough this internship, the intern will gain hands ‑ on experience in Federation ‑ wide planning and reporting processes, ERP ‑ based monitoring, and accountability mechanisms in a large humanitarian organisation. /p pbDuties applicable to all staff /b /p ul liActively work towards the achievement of the Federation Secretariat's goals. /li liAbide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescent principles. /li liPerform any other work‑related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pbRequired /b /p ul liBe currently enrolled in a university or equivalent level, or have graduated recently (normally within 1 year from the date of hiring) in an area that is compatible with the IFRC activities. /li liDegree in social sciences, international development, Public Administration, or related discipline. /li /ul pbPreferred /b /p ul liMaster's degree in same fields. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 pbRequired /b /p ul liExperience in Project Management, monitoring and evaluation and / or organizational development. /li liDemonstrated experience working in cross‑cultural contexts and with multiple stakeholders. /li liExperience in use of digital tools and platforms (Microsoft environment, data bases and AI powered tools). /li /ul pbPreferred /b /p ul liRelevant experience within the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and sound understanding of the IFRC operating environment. /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills and Languages /h3 pbRequired /b /p ul liKnowledge of Results-Based Management. /li liGood communication skills in different formats, capable of communicating complex ideas in simple, direct ways to different audiences, including understanding and using data visualisation. /li /ul pbLanguages /b /p pbRequired /b /p ul liFluently spoken and written English. /li /ul pbPreferred /b /p ul liGood command of another IFRC official language (French, Spanish or Arabic). /li /ul h3Competencies, Values and Comments /h3 pbValues: /b Respect for diversity; Integrity; Professionalism; Accountability. /p pbCore competencies: /b Communication; Collaboration and teamwork; Judgement and decision making; National society and customer relations; Creativity and innovation; Building trust. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
