Job Description

  • Sales: Acquire new customers and support them in the process of purchasing FTIR and Raman spectrometers. Cover the entire sales portfolio from initial contact and quotation preparation to contract negotiations. Plan routes and appointments independently, efficiently, with focus on achieving sales goals.
  • Strategy development: Develop sales measures and campaigns using knowledge of sales channels and implement them successfully. Represent products at trade fairs and conferences.
  • Consulting and training: Maintain long‑term relationships with existing customers. Provide application‑related advice and develop customer‑specific solutions, imparting product knowledge in the field of FTIR and Raman spectroscopy.

Qualifications

  • Education & knowledge: Degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, or similar, with particular interest in spectroscopic measurement methods.
  • Language and communication skills: Very good German and good English. Strong organizational and communication skills, confident manner, eloquent in phone, email, and in person. Entrepreneurial mindset and independent, committed work style.
  • Willingness to travel: Class 3 or B driver\’s licence and readiness to contact prospects and customers within the Western sales region.
