Overview
As a Product Engineer, you will shape the development and production of complex optical measuring instruments. You collaborate with development, production and QA to ensure manufacturability, quality and cost efficiency from prototype to series production. You plan prototypes, oversee pre-series logistics, and drive production documentation, testing, and supplier qualification. You will analyze defects, implement long-term quality improvements, and support continuous optimization.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Contribute manufacturing experience to product development of complex optical measuring instruments
- Evaluate prototype parts, assemblies and production processes for manufacturability and cost; perform type/component testing and technical approvals
- Plan prototype construction and manage pre-series logistics in cross-functional settings
- Plan and oversee series production, create documentation and test plans, train colleagues, and perform root-cause analysis to maintain quality
- Implement series modifications, ensure standards compliance and contribute to cost efficiency through production optimization; conduct cost analyses with development and purchasing; qualify new suppliers; provide technical production support
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Engineering degree or certified technician in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification
- At least three years of professional experience in production, project work, or development of technical devices or systems
- Strong quality standards, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail; familiarity with quality management methods
- Organized, independent, results-oriented, and structured work approach
