Business Area Manager Process Instrumentation (f/m/x)

Job Description

• Management of the business area, including the departments Product Management, Product Competence, Product Engineering, Customer Support & Repair, and Process Engineering Solutions
• Reporting to the divisional management
• Strategic planning and management of future development projects within the business area
• Responsibility for budget and financial results (profit center responsibility)
• Conducting market and competitive analyses, as well as designing and implementing marketing campaigns
• Continuous development of the product portfolio and execution of corporate strategies
• Supporting and steering global sales activities and advising international sales organizations

Qualifications

• A completed technical or scientific degree (FH/Uni/TU) in physics, chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position
• Expertise in product management and product portfolio development
• Economic knowledge or professional experience in business-related areas is an advantage
• Ideally, experience in the development of measuring instruments
• High level of initiative, flexibility, and sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset, decision-making ability, and assertiveness
• High level of motivation and results orientation
• Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20% of working time)

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): € 5.500 to € 7.500.
