Overview
As a Plastic Components Design Engineer, you will independently develop concept and detailed designs for plastic parts and injection-m molded components. You will collaborate with Product Management and Industrial Design, coordinating with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and feasibility. You drive material choices, process considerations, and design optimization to support scalable production. - Experience selecting suitable plastic materials and understanding their properties
- Experience with plastic manufacturing processes, especially injection molding and structural foam molding
- CAD design experience; SolidWorks and/or Creo advantageous
- Experience with rapid prototyping and small-batch production
