Overview
In this role, you will manage software licenses and IT assets across their lifecycle. You will maintain a central license register and ensure data quality in the CMDB, supporting renewals and audits. You will analyze usage to optimize costs, compliance, and software utilization, and generate reports in collaboration with IT, Purchasing, Controlling, and vendors. - Manage software licenses and IT assets from procurement to disposal
- Establish and maintain a central license register and ensure high CMDB data quality
- Prepare and support license renewals and software audits
- Analyze license and usage data to optimize costs, compliance, and software usage
- Create reports and key figures in collaboration with IT, Purchasing, Controlling, and software vendors
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed IT-focused education (technical college, UAS, university degree, or comparable qualification)
- Professional experience in IT license management, software asset management, or IT asset management
- Basic knowledge of common licensing models; experience with ITSM, SAM, or CMDB is advantageous
- Analytical, structured, and independent work style with strong communication skills
- Very good German and good English (written and spoken)
