Overview
In this role you coordinate between Product Management, stakeholders, and the software team to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery. You develop and document requirements for instrument software, translating them into user stories and prioritized work packages. You maintain the backlog and guide agile execution, while monitoring progress and validating features in the lab on modern XRD systems. You also support product specialists, contributing to the advancement of our XRD software solutions.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as central interface between Product Management, stakeholders and the software team
- Develop, analyze and document requirements for instrument software with PMs, Systems Engineers, UX Designers, and end users
- Structure requirements into User Stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized work packages
- Maintain, prioritize and refine Product Backlog for efficient agile development
- Monitor project progress and present results during Sprint Reviews
- Review and validate implemented software features for functionality and user requirements
- Validate and optimize new software features through hands-on testing on modern XRD systems in the lab
- Support Product and Application Specialists within the XRD product area
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed higher education in a technical or scientific discipline
- Strong knowledge of X-ray Diffraction (XRD) or similar analytical techniques
- Affection for software development and digital technologies in material characterization
- Excellent communication skills to translate requirements for software teams
- Hands-on laboratory experience with modern analytical instruments
- Strong teamwork and user-needs understanding
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) as Product Owner or similar is an advantage
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is an advantage
