Job Description Provide technical leadership and mentor a small firmware development team while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Own and manage the firmware product backlog by structuring requirements, prioritizing work packages, and enabling efficient team execution. Develop reusable firmware platform components in C/C++ with well‑defined software architectures and interfaces. Drive architectural decisions within the team’s area of responsibility. Analyze and evaluate requirements, translating them into technical specifications and realistic development plans. Actively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative firmware solutions.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or University)
Several years of experience developing embedded firmware for microcontrollers, with a strong focus on abstraction, clean interfaces, and testable software architectures
Strong programming skills in C, C++, RTOS concepts, and Python
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive them through to successful completion
A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, a supportive mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility for achieving shared goals
