Overview
In this role you drive M&A insurance due diligence projects, coordinating client assessments, data rooms, and reporting while advising on risk and insurance solutions. You will manage cross‑border DD projects and maintain client contacts, partnering with Europe and US teams. You’ll bring insurance and legal expertise to bear on sale transactions, delivering concise reports under tight deadlines. This position is a gateway to shaping risk strategies within a global advisory team.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and manage M&A due diligence projects, including client assessment, data room reviews, Q&A sessions, and advisory on risk/insurance issues
- Maintain high standards for DD projects and oversee client communications both written and spoken
- Apply insurance expertise to transactions, understanding financial markets and investors involved
- Communicate with clients in English; produce clear, concise reports and presentations
- Coordinate activities across internal teams and external brokers, coverage/exposure experts, originators, and insurers
- Maintain and update internal reporting systems regularly
- Support the M&A business development team by managing client contacts and developing new relationships
- Handle confidential information and work under tight deadlines
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law (or related discipline)
- Solid market knowledge in local and global insurance programs
- Knowledge of M&A insurance solutions and SPA-related insurance issues
- Understanding of contract law as relates to SPA and insurance issues
- Understanding of regulated activities, M&A procedures, and insurance compliance (incl. IPT)
- Excellent written and spoken English and German
- Experience in meetings and client presentations; ability to explain complex insurance issues clearly
- Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multi-person teams
- Good understanding of financial statements and environment
- Five years’ insurance, legal, or consulting experience (ideally)
- Broker license or willingness to obtain
- Strong communicational ability and client-facing presentation skills
