AP Executive are working with a Crypto Startup news and intelligence outlet and information source for cryptocurrency markets.

The Role

You will lead the analytical team while conducting in-depth research into cryptocurrency markets. This position combines individual research excellence with team leadership, requiring both the ability to produce industry‑defining analysis and to guide a team of analysts in their work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of crypto analysts, setting research direction and quality standards
• Conducting comprehensive research on market structure, emerging trends and protocol developments
• Producing actionable insights for institutional traders, investors and industry participants
• Synthesizing on‑chain data, macroeconomic factors and market psychology into coherent analysis
• Publishing high‑quality research that advances industry understanding

Autonomy and Approach

You will have significant autonomy in determining research priorities and methodological approaches. We value depth and originality over volume.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Track Record

• Minimum 3‑5 years of intensive involvement in cryptocurrency markets
• Documented history of market calls or analyses that proved correct when consensus was wrong
• Portfolio of written analysis demonstrating original thinking and analytical depth

Analytical Capabilities

• Ability to deconstruct market movements and identify the specific factors and mechanisms driving price action
• Skill in developing proprietary analytical frameworks that provide an edge in market understanding
• Capacity to synthesize disparate information sources (on‑chain data, macroeconomic factors, market structure, sentiment) into coherent analysis

Leadership

• Ability to set analytical standards and research direction for a team
• Skill in providing constructive feedback that improves team output
