We are hiring a full-time Sales Development Manager – the Conversion Machine – to lead our new inbound and outbound SDR team in the DACH region. You will lead this team to create qualified opportunities for the sales team, train other members of the SDR team, and take on operational and administrative tasks to help your SDR team perform and exceed expectations.

Before expanding your duties to more international markets, you would start in the DACH region.

What Will You Get:

What Will You Do :
work closely with your direct manager to learn the ins and outs of Trans.eu’s offering and successfully onboard into your new role. You will oversee the daily activities ofa team of 5-7 Sales Development Representatives;
play a critical role inbuilding effective liaise between marketing and sales teams, for example, by working closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns;
*develop and executenew strategies to build a strong team of Sales Development Representatives capable of inbound and outbound prospecting and account-based sales development while maintaining constant communication with our Account Executive team;

  • create the KPIs with the marketing team and enable your team to achieve these;
  • be responsible for meeting the Sales Development team’s SQL and Opportunity Creation targets. You’ll develop team members to make them comfortable with taking responsibility for a source of new leads that is predictable and scalable. Besides that, you will develop a system to update outbound messaging and cadences regularly.

What Will You Bring:**

  • critical attitude: you’re a natural high achiever with drive and hunger;
  • 2+ years of experience leading an inbound and outbound sales team with at least 3 SDRs that schedule 10+ meetings per SDR per month;
  • B2B SaaS experience, ideally in the transport/logistics sector;
  • prospecting skills to break into new accounts and territories. We expect you’ll be able to transfer these to your team;
  • experience with hiring, the ability to articulate what competencies and characteristics you look for when managing and upskilling a top-notch, diverse group of SDRs;
  • the ability to use a variety of data-driven productivity models combined with proactive one-on-one team member coaching to identify and address common sales prospecting challenges (e.g., low activity, poor scripting);
  • a proven track record of your performance on the following metrics: SQLs booked and Opportunities Created per SDR per month, Meeting to Opportunity conversion rate, number of SDRs, and leads by source;
  • the ability to share how you work with sales leaders to ensure seamless partnerships between SDRs and AEs and solve conflicts with several examples;
  • experience with CRM software and ability to discuss its strengths and weaknesses;
  • a native/bilingual level of German, and at least C1 level of English. Any other languages would be an advantage.
