Key focus areas will include:Further strengthening expertise in customs proceduresActing as the primary operational contact for the Value Adde d Services within Customs OperationsSupporting and coordinating customs audits, inspections, and compliance reviewsServing as the key operational interface between internal stakeholder departmentsActing as the operational contact person for customs authoritiesProviding subject matter expertise to all relevant departments and operational interfacesContinuously training, guiding, and raising awareness to operational teamsKey Responsibilities:Build a good working relationship with your direct reports and with your teamsSupervise and develop your direct reports and the teams through learning, development initiatives , coaching, goal setting, periodic feedback and reviewsSetting objectives, KPI´s, 1on1s in accordance with the M aersk Strategy , together with your managerImprove constant team´s productivity and efficiencyWork closely with other Maersk functional units / stakeholder to ensure the timely and cost-effective customs formalitiesGain overall customs knowledge across the t eam and understand the legal requirementsEmpower your direct reports and c ustoms team members to take first action when a functional obstacle emergesEscalate critical situations with appropriate recommendationsBuild a good working relationship with vendors and customers to ensure customer satisfactionEnsure new change initiatives are implemented by the team according to the standard global landscapeTo have a can-do and cost saving mentality.
