For one of the companies within our ecosystem, operating in the art industry, we are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial profile to build and scale its supply chain and logistics operations from the ground up.
Your mission
Build the company supply chain from 0→1, then scale it. You will own the end-to-end setup: from sourcing the manufacturers producing artworks and objects, through inventory and warehousing, to fulfilment and final delivery.
This is a hands-on role, part of the founding team. We are looking for someone who already knows how a great international supply chain works, but more importantly, knows how to build one in practice and is willing to do it.
Your responsibilities
- Inventory & warehousing : build the processes for inbound, receiving, quality/condition control, inventory, storage and stock movements.
- Fulfilment & logistics design and run packaging, fulfilment, international shipping, customs, delivery and returns.
- Manufacturing & suppliers: source, assess and onboard manufacturers; negotiate costs, quality and lead times; manage production and supplier performance.
- Partners & systems: select and manage necessary partners such as 3PLs, warehouses, carriers, customs partners and operational tools such as WMS/PIM/ERP.
- Economics: understand what the supply chain costs, negotiate hard and make the right trade-offs between quality, customer experience, risk and gross margin.
- Build for scale: define KPIs, improve processes continuously and decide what should stay manual, be automated, outsourced or brought in-house as the company grows.
- Contribute beyond supply chain: as part of a small cross-functional team, contribute to broader strategy and help drive the company forward.
- Innovation: stay close to new tools, technologies and operating models, and proactively bring ideas that can unlock more ambitious product and launch plans.
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain / logistics, ideally in e-commerce, marketplaces or physical products.
- You have built or significantly redesigned supply chain operation s, not only managed an existing setup.
- You are energized by the idea of building from scratch and rolling up your sleeves . You can think about the future warehouse network and then go on-site to understand why today's receiving process is too slow. Hiring and managing a team will come later.
- Strong field knowledge of warehousing, inventory, 3PLs, international shipping and customs.
- Experience with WMS, PIM and/or ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation skills and a clear cost/quality mindset.
- Direct communicator, autonomous and willing to jump in to help your team
- French & English proficiency.
- Capacity to be minimum 3 days in our office in Eysins
Bonus: Experience in art, luxury, collectibles or other high-value products is a plus.
What's in it for you
- Founding ownership: you will be the first person fully owning supply chain and will shape how it works from day one.
- High impact role: your decisions will directly impact our gross margin and the customer experience.
- An unusual playground : art, high-value products, international logistics and diverse operational challenges. An ambitious company within a broad entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Grow with the company: if the company grows as planned, you will have the opportunity to grow the supply chain function further and build a team.
