Software Engineer, Rellingen

The Audio & Music Apps group is looking for a talented software engineer. We are an international team with a presence in Rellingen/Germany, Edinburgh and Cupertino. The Rellingen engineering team works on GarageBand and Logic for iOS and macOS, and MainStage. Your position will be at our German office in Rellingen near Hamburg.

Description

Our team practices fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between engineering, QA and product design. This position requires a highly ambitious & creative engineer with strong technical and communication skills. Responsibilities will include:

1. Working on new features for iOS and/or macOS applications.
2. Developing new audio and music related technologies and applications.
3. Supporting the existing features of our apps.

Attention to detail and critical thinking skills are required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent professional experience in software development is required.
• Strong software development skills with C++, Swift or Objective-C.
• Proven ability to develop high quality software products.
• Strong knowledge of Xcode and related developer tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCM Systems (e.g. Git, SVN).
• Experience implementing UI’s on iOS and/or Mac platforms.
• Experience in development of music production software.
