Who we are
We provide 2nd Level Support for critical applications within the Quality System Management domain in the automotive industry for a major Bavarian company.
The purpose is to maintain, control, monitor, and support the applications that are in our responsibility.
What you\’ll be doing
- Providing technical support and maintenance activities for the applications we are responsible for
- Working with the PIC processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Cooperating with users and customers
- Participating in daily team meetings and weekly meetings with the customer
- Performing root cause and log analysis
- Resolving issues and tickets that arise in daily operations
- Monitoring systems daily, identifying performance issues early, and solving problems proactively
- Installing regular patches for applications
- Managing user rights and user accounts
- Performing database activities in Oracle, such as checking DB jobs and tuning
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Managing server maintenance from an application perspective (patches, processes, etc.)
- Troubleshooting application/server performance and stability issues
- Managing server patching and master releases
- Analyzing and troubleshooting application log files
- Creating and updating scripts to optimize monitoring
- Managing release and rollout activities
- Ensuring 24/7 system stability
- Using Jira and Confluence daily
What you\’ll bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or non-technical field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in application management services
- Experience with Oracle SQL, Windows, Linux (mandatory)
- Experience with Bash and PowerShell scripting (desirable)
- Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure (nice to have)
- ITIL certification (plus)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience in the automotive industry (preferred)
- Excellent command of English and German, both spoken and written
