Your mission
We are looking for a Technical AI Strategist eager to actively shape appliedAI\’s role as a leading ally in assisting our client companies to leverage AI for business transformation. You will be a close sparring partner to these organizations, helping to initiate and/or scale their AI ambitions. This includes guiding them in defining and setting up their AI strategies, developing their AI use case portfolio and creating an organizational setup to bring it into action. As a Technical AI Strategist you will work closely with our AI Strategists, AI Project Managers as well as intersections with adjacent teams, such as AI Engineering, to realize value for our customers. In addition to the work with individual partners, you contribute to developing, tech-enabling and managing a set of unique assets in the Strategy & Transformation space to help our ecosystem advance in the age of AI.
Your Tasks Will Include:
- Focusing on strategically working together with our partners and customers across industries – from DAX to larger “Mittelstand” companies – to enhance their business and operational outcomes
- Guiding the organization through AI maturity assessments, developing AI strategies, and establishing effective AI operating models, enhancing overall agility, technological capability and enabling innovation
- Compiling AI use case portfolios, scoping high-value AI solutions and accompanying the technical implementation in a coordinating role
- Co-owning topics within the Strategy & Transformation team, being recognized as thought leader with a technical perspective on strategic topics (e.g., AI Agents), and further developing top-notch assets that allow for the scaling of our offering
- Staying up to date and in touch with relevant strategic AI questions and AI state-of-the-art research to understand opportunities and requirements
Your profile
- An outstanding academic record in a tech-related subject is preferred but not required (e.g., Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or similar)
- You combine the best of strategic project management with strong technical passion and technical expertise in AI and have the ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, while focusing on the business impact of AI in their organizations
- Previous experience in applying AI within companies, e.g. within a technology consultancy, or as part of a technical project/product team or AI Engineer/Data Scientist within an enterprise or comparable
- Experience in (agile) IT-Governance, Enterprise Architecture Management, or AI (Solution) Architecture is a big plus
- Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, and combine them with strong presence and communication skills
- Experience in conducting workshops and developing ideas, concepts, and solution guidelines
- Fluency in English and German is required
This role is open to both Technical AI Strategists and Senior Technical AI Strategists. While both levels will significantly contribute to our strategic initiatives and organizational goals, senior candidates are expected to bring in 4+ years of experience in leading complex AI or consulting projects, and deep knowledge of AI technology.
