Chassis Systems Architect (Automotive Embedded Systems)

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineering Lead to drive the development of advanced chassis systems, including suspension, steering, braking, and vehicle dynamics. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in automotive embedded systems and system engineering practices, with a strong background in working with leading OEMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs and market trends into robust technical specifications for chassis-related features.
• Oversee the end-to-end development and validation of chassis systems.
• Lead and mentor system engineers to derive system-level requirements from technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system architecture with product goals.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE standards (SYS.1, SYS.2, SYS.3) throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage project teams, including bilingual engineers, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in automotive embedded systems and system engineering.
• Expert in development of advanced chassis systems, including suspension, steering, braking, and vehicle dynamics.
• Strong background in requirement elicitation, specification, and system architecture design.
• Hands‑on experience with ASPICE SYS.1, SYS.2, SYS.3 processes.
• Demonstrated success in managing project teams and delivering complex automotive systems.
• Experience working with major OEMs such as Volkswagen (VW), Mercedes-Benz (MB), BMW, Stellantis.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in a multicultural environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Native German speaker or EU citizen with C1-level German language proficiency.
