Diagnostic Engineer
to join their technical support team in Biel.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with strong CNC troubleshooting experience who enjoys solving complex technical issues and supporting customers.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve technical issues on CNC milling machines.
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email and remote support tools.
Analyse electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and CNC-related faults.
Interpret electrical schematics to identify and resolve machine issues.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure efficient problem resolution.
Document interventions and technical findings using SAP and internal systems.
Deliver a high level of customer service while ensuring timely issue resolution.
Your Profile Essential requirements:
Proven experience with
Heidenhain 530, 620 or 640
and/or
Siemens CNC control systems .
Strong knowledge of
pneumatic and hydraulic systems .
Electrical knowledge, including the ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Basic mechanical knowledge, particularly relating to machine construction and drive systems.
Experience providing technical support to customers.
Good working knowledge of
SAP
and
Microsoft Office 365 .
Fluent
German
(mandatory).
Nice to have:
English and/or French.
What Our Client Offers
Permanent position within a stable and internationally recognised company.
Monthly salary of
CHF 5,300–5,500 , paid over
13 months , depending on experience.
Annual performance bonus.
Hybrid working with
1 day of home office per week .
