Field Service Technician

We are looking for a Field Service Technician / Automation Specialist to join the Customer Service team at a renowned global leader in automation.

You will be joining a team of experts in their domain and working on projects across various industrial sectors such as pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and aerospace.

• Responsibilities include:
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of automation equipment, customer support
• Commissioning of new installations, robots, and software
• Upgrading and remodeling existing installations
• Training customers
• Serving as a key contact for OEM customers, assisting with technical solutions and training
• Compiling service reports and documentation in German and English

Travel and location: Ideally based in the Stuttgart area, with frequent travel throughout Germany (approximately 50%), either solo or with the team.

About you:

• PLC programming and commissioning experience with Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain
• Technical background in mechatronics, automation, mechanics, etc.
• A practical, skilled technician who is customer-oriented, structured, and enjoys direct contact with clients
• Fluent in German and professional proficiency in English
• Valid driving license
