Senior Data & AI Architect

We combine the rigor of top-tier strategy consulting with deep expertise in data, digital, and analytics to help clients achieve tangible /p h3What you would do /h3 ul liOperating model and organization /li liDesign the Data AI operating model (centralized, federated, hub-and-spoke) following Data Mesh principles: roles, responsibilities, domain ownership and governance mechanisms. /li liDefine the organization of the Data GenAI CoE: scope, service catalogue, skills, sizing and engagement model with business domains. /li liDesign end-to-end processes for demand management, use case prioritization, funding and value tracking. /li liArchitecture and technology choices /li liDefine the target data platform architecture on cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Databricks, including GenAI components (RAG, agents, vector stores, LLMOps). /li liRun make-or-buy analyses and vendor selections: scouting, evaluation criteria, business case, TCO and final recommendation. /li liCheck that architecture, security and data governance choices are consistent with enterprise standards and with the operating model. /li liData products: from demand to rollout /li liGather and formalize functional requirements with the business, translating them into data products with owners, consumers, SLAs and quality metrics. /li /ul h3What the employer asks for /h3 ul liAt least 4 years of professional experience in IT. /li liAt least 2 years on projects focused on AI/GenAI, Data Mesh and functional requirements gathering. /li liConsulting experience, ideally in strategy consulting, combined with experience at a system integrator or delivery firm. /li liHands-on experience designing operating models, Data/AI organizations or CoEs. /li liExperience with make-or-buy analyses, vendor selection or target architecture definition. /li liExcellent written and spoken English. /li liTechnical and functional skills: /li liYou will not be expected to write code, but you need to know the technologies well enough to assess them, challenge vendors and spot a flawed setup. /li liData Mesh and governance: domain ownership, data products, federated governance, data contracts, catalogues and lineage (e.g. Unity Catalog, OpenMetadata, Collibra). /li liCloud: data and AI PaaS services on at least one of Azure, AWS and GCP; security, networking and FinOps principles. /li /ul h3Eligibility /h3 ul liLanguages: Excellent written and spoken English. /li liOperating model: Data/AI organization, CoE, roles (data owner, data steward, product owner), demand and portfolio processes. /li /ul h3Conditions and benefits stated /h3 ul liA role bridging strategy and technology, with direct impact on client decisions. /li liInternational projects on Data Mesh, data platforms and GenAI. /li liClose collaboration with the Project Lead and a growth path towards programme leadership roles. /li liHighly competitive compensation package /li liThis position is based in /li /ul h3Not stated in the posting /h3 pAsk about these before you invest time in an application. /p h3Does this role fit you? /h3 pInside Aptiora, the employer’s requirements are compared with your own career evidence: what is supported, what is missing and what to check before applying. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
