About the Opportunity
The Enterprise Account Manager will prospect, qualify, sell and close new business within existing and new customers in Germany, Austria and other key markets. The role provides a point‑of‑view to customer engagement and is accountable for increasing revenue across Wind River solutions through software subscriptions, licenses, professional services and retention activities such as consulting, enablement and education services. Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, sell and close new business with existing and new customers in Germany, Austria and other key markets. Develop and execute account plans that deliver quota attainment and sustainable growth. Maintain C‑level access and engage senior management to influence decision‑making. Understand customer power‑maps, technology footprints and competitive landscape to provide tailored solutions. Build trusted advisor relationships and act as a strategic partner. Lead territory and account activities, including prospect profiling, sales cycles and renewal processes. Deliver comprehensive business plans and use benchmarking and ROI data to support customer decisions. Drive revenue across software subscriptions, licensing, professional services and engineering solutions. Qualifications
5+ years of quota‑bearing sales experience, ideally selling to decision makers across relevant industries in the region. German language fluency is a pre‑requisite; English required; additional languages are beneficial. Experience with Linux/open‑source software or software development is an advantage. Experience with cloud platforms such as VMware and enterprise software such as Red Hat. Embedded software sales is a plus. Demonstrated success in a consultative, solutions/value‑oriented sales approach and team‑selling environment. Strong hunting and prospecting skills. Excellent listening, presentation, public‑speaking and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage own area independently.
